Blueberries, Oats, & Almonds Face Mask

Ingredients:

½ Cup Fresh Blueberries

2 Tablespoons Oatmeal

2 Teaspoons Pre-sliced Almonds

2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

2 Tablespoons Clean Water

Prep:

The oatmeal and almonds need to be made into a smoothly ground powder and can be done so in a food processor. Combine the lemon juice and water in a bowl then blend the lemon/water mixture with the blueberries in the food processor or blender until you have a smooth paste consistency. Combine the oatmeal and almonds with the blueberry mixture and blend well together in a mixing bowl with a spatula. Once all blended well together, apply to your clean face and neck. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse off with warm water. Apply oil-free moisturizer for additional moisture.

Blueberries help repair damage done to skin from the sun or acne and can give you that beautiful glow back to your skin.

The oatmeal and almond mixture is a gentle exfoliation treatment for your skin. Because the combination is ground up, there are no rough pieces that can cut up or irritate your skin. It’s important to note that if you are allergic to nuts, NOT to use this mask. The lemon juice helps fight acne in addition to combatting oily skin. Lemon juice is a natural astringent and is much more gentle on your skin than skincare products that contain harsh alcohol that can irritate and dry out your skin.
