Edamame

Ingredients:

8 Ounces Frozen Shelled Edamame

1 Clove Garlic

¼ Cup Water

2 Tablespoons Reduced-Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Tablespoon Minced Ginger (Fresh)

1 Tablespoon rice vinegar

1 Tablespoon Tahini

1/8 Teaspoon Salt

Hot pepper sauce for added kick

Prep:

Boil edamame per the directions and remove the cooked edamame from the shell. Mash or puree the cooked edamame then puree additional ingredients until blended well. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving. Enjoy for up to 5 days as long as kept refrigerated. Use pita chips, whole wheat tortilla chips, or your favorite veggies to dip!

Benefits:

Edamame is loaded with tons of nutrients including Vitamins A and C. These vitamins fight acne and can repair damaged skin from the sun, acne, and other environmental causes. These nutrients can also reverse your age by minimizing fine lines and wrinkles.

Fresh ginger can decrease inflammation on your skin from acne and dryness and can also make your skin look more radiant and give you a beautiful glow. Ginger is a powerful antioxidant which can destroy dangerous free radicals that can harm your skin.

Enjoy this dip with friends or as a light snack for yourself!
