Acne home remedies are proven to be effective and much less expensive than buying numerous acne and skincare products. Below we have listed some of the most effective homemade remedies readily available to help the appearance and health of your skin.

Toothpaste

This is most effective home remedy to get rid of acne. After cleaning and moisturizing your face, simply apply a small amount of toothpaste directly to each pimple. Make sure you use non-whitening toothpaste and that it’s a paste not a gel. Test one pimple to see that you don’t have an adverse reaction to the toothpaste on your skin. This is only effective for mild acne, not if you suffer from pimples all over your face.

Green Tea Ice Cubes

Simply brew a batch of natural green tea, pour it into ice trays, and freeze. Use 1-2 green tea ice cubes each day by rubbing the ice directly on your pimples after cleansing your skin. The green tea will kill acne-causing bacteria while reducing redness, swelling, irritation, and size. Ice cubes on steroids!!!

Pure Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera is commonly associated with soothing sun burnt skin but can also heal acne and acne scars. Simply make an incision in the leaf of the plant, squeeze out the gel, and apply it directly to your skin for five to ten minutes after cleansing your skin. Then wash your skin with cold water. You can use this tip before sleeping to achieve excellent results.

Organic Lemon juice

A natural astringent that can be applied directly to the skin. Squeeze some lemon juice into a bowl, dip a cotton ball in it, and apply the juice to your freshly cleansed skin as a toner before bed. It will kill acne-causing bacteria, make you less oily on the surface of your skin, and even out your skin’s complexion.

Vinegar & Salt Paste

Combine the two ingredients together and apply the paste on acne-affected areas. Let it sit for 20 minutes then gently massage off with warm water and your fingertips. Dry with a soft hand towel then apply an oil-free moisturizer to retain needed moisture. This remedy will gently exfoliate dead skin cells off your face, unclogging your pores of excess oil and acne-causing bacteria.

Organic Lemon Juice & Rosewater

Mix the fresh lemon juice with rosewater and apply to the affected skin, letting it sit for 30 minutes. When the time is up, rinse away the solution with warm water.

Eating Organic Fruits & Vegetables

Your body requires essential vitamins, nutrients, minerals, and antioxidants to function properly and you can achieve those benefits by eating leafy greens, berries, and an array of other fruits and veggies. You can also smash fruits and apply them onto affected areas of skin where acne has formed. Heal your body from within and it will exude through your skin.

If you follow our tips and suggestions, you will notice dramatic improvements in your skin in just a short time. Remember, we are here to help you and if you take care of your skin, it will take care of you.
