Looking for a natural way to treat your acne? You probably have a variety of reasons for wanting to try natural acne solutions. It could be that your body had an adverse reaction to artificial solutions or you simply want to try alternative solutions to your persistent acne problems.

Whatever your reasons are, we are going to show you some natural acne solutions that will help you deal with acne, since artificial treatments may hurt your skin. Here are some of the natural acne solutions you can try:

Healing Honey:

Honey is recognized for its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, which may prove beneficial if you apply it on your face as a face mask twice a week. Honey can kill acne-causing bacteria which is clogged in your pores. Honey is also easily available and relatively cheap, so you won’t have any problems acquiring this.

Tea tree oil:

Benzoyl peroxide is a known and effective acne solution. However, if you’re not too keen on applying that solution on your face, tea tree oil may be a good alternative. Tea tree oil is a little slower in taking effect compared to bezoyl peroxide, but if you’re all about using natural products, then tea tree oil does the job well.

Cleansing your face regularly:

Sometimes, all you need to prevent acne is to follow a proper skincare routine. Washing your face regularly can significantly reduce your chances of having acne. The reason for this is that cleansing with a gentle face cleanser helps remove oils and dirt that are building up in your pores. If you don’t remove them, the accumulated oil and bacteria could clog these follicles, which could then cause acne to erupt.

A nutritious diet:

Believe it or not, the food that you eat can also cause acne breakouts. There are studies which suggest that there are certain foods that can cause acne such as milk, as well as foods rich in carbohydrates, fat, and sugar. Therefore, if you avoid these foods associated with acne, you’ll lessen your chances of having acne problems. Consult with your dermatologist and nutritionist for more information on foods to avoid. Your nutritionist can provide you with a diet plan that can eliminate your acne problems for good.

Glycolic Acid:

Found in sugar cane, glycolic acid can help unclog pores therefore preventing acne breakouts. Just be careful not to apply too much glycolic acid on your skin, as it could cause a mild stinging sensation when applied.

If you want to prevent acne the natural way, you already have these five natural acne solutions to choose from. Of course, there are more that you can try. However, many studies have already proven the effectiveness of the ones on the list.

Why choose natural acne solutions? Because they work-simply. You are better off having natural products on your skin than artificial ones that may cause irritation, dryness, and inflammation. These natural products are also within your reach and budget, so you don’t need to shell out a lot of money just to prevent acne.
