All teenagers detest acne. Acne is one of the most common problems among teenagers and can lead to irritating behavior, low self-esteem, and lack of confidence among there peers. Acne is a skin problem that affects most teenagers yet each teenager feels they are dealing with this problem alone.
The hyperactivity of the oil glands is the main culprit for acne breakouts. The hormone imbalance causes the sebaceous glands to emit too much oil to the skin’s surface, causing acne breakouts and inflammation.
Teenage Acne: Causes
Besides the normal cause of human growth due to hormonal imbalances, there are other reasons that aggravate acne. Changes in lifestyle including dietary habits and stress in life can trigger acne. Teenagers generally have a busy lifestyle. They stay awake late at night causing lack of sleep. Teenagers tend to eat more junk food and fried foods as well hence, unhealthy food habits, lack of rest, combined with hormonal imbalances leads to teenage acne.
Teenage Acne: Treatment
A healthy lifestyle and diet are recommended to help prevent and fight acne. It’s important to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to cleanse the body of unwanted toxins. Avoiding unneeded stress, working out, and a minimum of 8 hours of sleep a night are highly recommended to keep skin healthy. Skin restores itself during the sleep cycle so make sure you get to sleep early enough!
Try not to get depressed if you are suffering from acne. Acne is one of the most common skin ailments which affect both men and women. Do not allow your acne to cause you more stress than need be. It is recommended to set up a dermatologist visit if your acne is not getting better. You are beautiful and you will get through this.

also followed a healthy lifestyle and took a balanced diet. Thanks to her
efforts today I have a spotless skin. I advise youngsters to take care of their
health and they can easily fight acne.
My teenage days were scarred by acne. I

even started avoiding my friends. But on my doctor’s advice I started using
