Acne is a very common skin ailment which affects almost everyone at some time in their lives. From the teenage years and older, many battle acne – It affects both men and women and is a cause of great stress and depression for many. 1. Always use clean towels for your face and body. Dirty towels promote bacteria growth which can worsen acne.
2. Change your pillow case on regular basis, 1-2 times a weeks is recommended.
3. Try and avoid over-exposure to the sun. The sun’s ultraviolet rays increase inflammation, irritation, and redness causing more acne breakouts.
4. If you have long hair try to keep your hair away from your skin while sleeping. Tie your hair up to avoid oils and hair product residue seeping into your pores.
5. Avoid using fragrances, oils, and harsh chemicals on your hair. All these ingredients generally seep onto the face, which blocks the pores and causes acne and irritation.
6. After exercise always take a shower as quickly as possible since sweat along with skin’s oils can clog your pores, causing acne.
7. Do not share makeup and makeup brushes. Always make sure to clean your cosmetic brushes regularly – once a week is best if you suffer from acne, otherwise bi-monthly is appropriate. To prevent acne; throw away your contaminated makeup and makeup brushes. Replace makeup every 6-8 months to avoid breakouts.
8. Always select oil-free cosmetics and paraben-free makeup whenever possible.
9. Most of all never go to bed with your makeup on. Otherwise it will clog your pores and lead to acne breakouts.
10. Keep your hands off your face. That means no picking or popping pimples too! Otherwise your skin will have severe scarring.
11. Drinking lots of water helps to prevent acne since it will flush out all toxins at a quicker rate than if you were dehydrated. Water also keeps your skin looking fresh, moist, and hydrated.
12. Eliminate greasy food and junk food from your daily diet and add a ton of organic fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Eating the right diet also helps to prevent acne. You are what you eat.
Simply follow these tips to prevent acne. We are sure that if you practice these simple tips you can really reduce the occurrence of acne breakouts by more than half!

Good advice, I never knew why I kept on getting these damn acne breakouts. I’ll try these tips and see if it works for me.
My problem isnt bacteria is actually hormones “/ so im having a really really really hard time getting rid of my break outs. If anybody knows anything to clean the body within or any tips please email me.
