How to Get Rid of Acne Quickly

If you are looking for a way to get rid of acne quickly, in less than a day or so, then let me start with the bad news. There is currently no way of treating your acne problems that quickly. Popping your zit may be a tempting option, but doing so will leave scars that will be with you for quite a long time.

Here’s the Good News…

You can get rid of your acne problems in about 3 days, without leaving unsightly scars on your skin. Read ahead to learn how!

Home Remedies to Treat Acne Quickly

There are a number of ways to go about treating your acne quickly in about 3 days. Let’s begin with home remedies. There are many things in your home that you can use to get rid of acne. Non-whitening toothpaste is one way. Used to clean your teeth, who knew you could also use it to remove acne? All you need to do is to apply a thin film of toothpaste on inflamed areas of your skin and leave it on overnight. Cleanse your face in the morning and follow with an oil-free moisturizer.

Another effective home treatment for acne is eggs. Eggs are already known for giving people clear skin, but egg whites can also be used as a mask to remove acne. Apply egg whites on the affected areas of your skin, leave on for 20 minutes, and rinse it off with warm water. See the positive results of clearer skin in just a couple of days.

How about a cool way of getting rid of acne? You can use ice on the inflamed areas of your skin by simply massaging an ice cube on your pimples. This will help both to ease the inflammation and relieve your skin of pain, especially in cases of nodules and cystic acne.

Visit Your Dermatologist

If you are not too keen on dealing with acne problems yourself, then you could also pay your dermatologist a visit. A cortisone shot will help reduce the inflammation on your skin due to acne. You can see the effects after a few hours but only your doctor will know if this treatment or another option is the best for your specific acne problem.

No Time for Acne Treatment?

But what if you’re really pressed for time and your acne simply won’t disappear? This is a common problem among women who are about to get married in less than a day and want to look beautiful. The answer would be to just roll it with. And believe it or not, not many people would really mind or even notice a few blemishes on your skin. Once again, just don’t give into the temptation of popping your zit for a quick fix. You’d be doing more harm than good to your skin.

It also pays to be extra prepared several weeks before an important event. Consult with your dermatologist weeks before your wedding, or whatever the important occasion may be, so you can discuss how to prevent acne during that time.
