Pimples are a huge nuisance. They can get bigger before they go away, they can spread to other areas of your face, and they can be very painful. So what can you do to get rid of them faster? Read ahead on some awesome tips to battle the pimple war:

1. Don’t pick or pop your pimples. You are risking the spread of acne-causing bacteria and infection and can cause intense scarring.

2. Cleanse and moisturize morning and night. Keeping your skin hydrated with an oil-free moisturizer will minimize the chance of breakouts by balancing the pH levels of your skin.

3. Make sure your kissing/makeout partner has clean hands before they start caressing your beautiful clear skin. Just saying…

4. Wear oil-free cosmetics. Less chance of clogging your pores with unneeded oil.

5. If you typically breakout on your forehead, you may need to give your hat a good cleansing in the washing machine if you wear one. Hats can collect oil, dirt, and makeup on the inside of the hat.

6. If you have bangs and use hair product, the product may be seeping into your skin and clog your pores. Look at changing your hair products and/or growing out your bangs.

7. Wear your hair pulled back while you sleep so oil from you hair doesn’t seep into your skin.

8. Use benzoyl product topical cream or cream with salicylic acid to kill acne-causing bacteria.

Follow these tips and your skin will be sure to look better faster than you think. Don’t give up and think you are bound to have acne forever. It will get better!

I’m 42, I fight with acne everyday. I am a sweet eater, I do not drink soda, nor eat fried foods. I get new pimples everyday, I’ve tried so many products, nothing helps. And I drink lots of water. Do u have any suggestions for me?
