Ingredients:

1 Small Cucumber

1 Tablespoon Uncooked Oatmeal

1 Tablespoon Pure Aloe Vera Gel

Prep:

Peel the skin off the cucumber and dispose of the skin. Puree the cucumber in the blender until all the pieces are smooth. Grind the rolled oats in the coffee grinder until you have a powdery substance. Mix all three ingredients together in a mixing bowl until blended well. Apply to your clean face and neck and leave on your skin for 25-30 minutes then rinse off with warm water. Gently pat dry with a soft hand towel and apply an oil-free moisturizer to add more moisture to your freshly hydrated and exfoliated skin.

Benefits:

Cucumber has a number of benefits for aiding in beautiful skin. It’s contains a high amount of silica which is a mineral that keeps our connective tissue together and keeps it strong. Silica helps keep skin looking younger by stopping the aging process and repairing weak skin by retaining more water in the skin. Normally skin ages more rapidly when water can’t be held well because the connective tissues become too weak. Silica strengthens skin tissues. Cucumbers also help with skin that is damaged by the sun or that is acne-prone. This vegetable hydrates your skin properly without making you oily.

Rolled oats work as an amazing gentle exfoliator for your skin, removing dead skin cells so fresh skin can surface. Pores become unclogged when you exfoliate your skin.

Aloe Vera, in its natural and pure form, has been known to help reduce pain and suffering from sunburns but many skin care companies have started adding Aloe Vera to skincare products because it really does help with skin irritants from acne and can reduce acne breakouts as well.
