banana face mask

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons Mashed Banana (Eat the rest!)

2 Teaspoons Rolled Oats

1 Teaspoon Organic Milk

1 Teaspoon Pure Honey

Prep:

Mash the banana with a fork until you have a smooth, paste-like consistency. Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl until its blended well then apply to your freshly cleansed face and neck. Work the scrub gently into your skin with your fingertips in a circular motion for 2 minutes. Once completed, rinse off with warm water and a gentle cleanser and pat dry with a soft hand towel. Apply an oil-free moisturizer to further hydrate your skin.

Benefits:

This mask is wonderful thanks to the rolled oats that gently exfoliates dead skin to allow fresh new skin to surface. This mask will leave you glowing and radiant due to the effective ingredients added.

Bananas are great to help in fighting acne and are not known to irritate the skin so even those of you with the most sensitive skin should be able to use this mask without side effects. Bananas are rich in potassium, which when applied directly to the skin, will suffocate the bacteria in cells, forcing blemishes to heal more quickly. Bananas have many anti-bacterial properties which can reduce swelling and infections from other skin issues, including Psoriasis, Eczema, and even painful bug bites. You can even rub the peel of the banana on your skin for these types of skin conditions and it will help soothe your skin tremendously.

Bananas are also loaded with Vitamin C and other anti-oxidants which when applied to the skin (even the peel), can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Blood flow will circulate better and collagen production will be boosted.

Honey is a wonderful antioxidant proven to help reduce impurities from the skin and help battle mild acne. It also helps restore skin’s texture due to its anti-microbial properties, and will help repair skin damage from the sun and daily environments.

Milk will hydrate your skin while soothing and repairing the skin as well.
