Ingredients:

2 Large Raw Carrots

2 Tablespoons Pure Honey

Prep:

Slice the carrot and boil them until soft for about 5 minutes. They should be soft enough to poke through with a fork or knife. Drain the water and place the carrots in a bowl and mash them until they are of a smooth consistency. Warm the honey slightly and blend in with the carrots until combined well. Allow the mask to cool a bit then apply to your freshly cleansed face and neck. Leave on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Pat dry with a soft hand towel then apply an oil-free moisturizer or a drop of pure extra virgin olive oil which makes a terrific moisturizer that won’t clog your pores or cause breakouts.

Benefits:

This carrot honey mask is perfect for any skin type. Carrots are a natural antiseptic and help soothe irritated skin, while leaving your skin feeling fresh and healthy. Beta Carotene is in carrots and is an excellent ingredient for anti-aging skin due to it protecting from free radicals which can damage and break down the skin. Carrot seed oil has been proven to cleanse the skin of impurities and acne-causing bacteria, causing your acne to decrease and allowing your skin to be clear and beautiful. Carrot seed oil will add moisture to your skin without causing your skin to break out or feel greasy.

Honey contains numerous anti-microbial properties and is a natural antioxidant. Honey fights microbial infections that cause acne without irritating your skin. This sweet goodness pulls out impurities from your pores that would normally stay clogged, festering bacteria that causes pimples.  Honey will also help restore your skin’s texture and reduce damage done to your skin by the sun and daily environments you come in contact with.
