Chamomile and Oatmeal Face Mask

Ingredients:

½ Cup of Twice-Seeped Chamomile Tea

¼ Cup Raw Rolled Oats

Prep:

Boil the water and seep two chamomile tea bags in the water once boiled. The chamomile tea needs to be really strong which is why two tea bags are required. Once seeped for a few minutes, dispose of the tea bags and combine the rolled oats with the chamomile tea and mix together creating a type of paste. Making sure the water has cooled off enough to apply on your skin, apply the face mask to your clean face and neck. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse off with warm water. Gently pat your skin dry with a soft hand towel and apply an oil-free moisturizer to your face and neck.

Rolled oats contain healthy fats that add moisture and hydration to the skin. Oats are a beautiful gentle exfoliator for the skin, removing cellular build-up allowing new, rejuvenated skin to surface.  They contain saponins that gently remove dirt, oil, and bacteria from your pores without clogging your pores and will leave your skin glowing long after you remove the mask!

Chamomile has been used for centuries to heal people with skin issues. Chamomile works wonders on your skin due to its anti-microbial properties and its ability to soothe inflammation and irritation on skin from sunburns, acne break outs, and dry skin. It will minimize most skin irritations and reduce pain as well.
