Ingredients:

½ Cup Finely Ground Cornmeal

1 Tablespoon Pure Honey

2 Drops of Vitamin E Oil

¼ Cup Clean Water (Give or take a little)

Prep: Combine all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl. You may need a little more or a little less water depending on the thickness you like. Either way, you need enough water to make a paste-like consistency for the face mask. Apply to your clean face and neck and leave on for 25 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and a gentle cleanser and gently pat your skin dry with a soft hand towel. Apply an oil-free moisturizer on your face and neck to retain needed moisture.

Benefits: This mask is ideal for anyone that suffers from dry skin. The finely ground cornmeal will gently exfoliate the dead skin off your face. Dead skin cells are also known as cellular buildup and not removing of this buildup regularly can leave your pores clogged with acne-causing bacteria and oil causing you to breakout more. GENTLY exfoliating at least 3 times a week can help prevent this from happening. The fineness of the cornmeal will not irritate your skin – Just make sure it’s finely ground. If it’s not, you can pour it in a coffee grinder to grind it further to a more delicate powder. Honey is a wonderful antioxidant proven to help reduce impurities from the skin and help battle mild acne. It also helps restore skin’s texture due to its anti-microbial properties, and will help repair skin damage from the sun and daily environments. Vitamin E oil will soothe irritated and inflamed skin while helping to reduce scarring on skin caused by acne. It’s a beautiful vitamin for your skin and body.
