Cucumber Yogurt Face Mask

Ingredients:

½ Chilled Cucumber

2 Tablespoons Organic Plain Yogurt

Prep:

Wash the cucumber then puree it in a food processor or blender until smooth then combine the yogurt with the pureed chilled cucumber. Apply the mixture to your clean face and neck and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Pat face and neck dry with a soft hand towel then apply an oil-free moisturizer to add hydration to your skin.

Benefits:

Cucumber has a number of benefits for the skin, especially if your skin is oily. It is high in silica which is a mineral that keeps our connective tissue together and keeps them strong. Silica helps keep skin looking younger by stopping the aging process and repairing weak skin by retaining more water in the skin. Normally skin ages more rapidly when water can’t be held well because the connective tissues become too weak. Silica strengthens skin tissues. Cucumbers also help with skin that is damaged by the sun or that is acne-prone. This vegetable hydrates your skin properly without making you more oily.

Organic plain yogurt is great for the skin because it will leave your skin glowing due to the low amount of acidity in it, which will restore your natural pH balance. It is also great for adding hydration to the skin and is great for soothing sunburns or irritated skin. It will refresh your skin like a moisture drink!
