Ingredients:

½ Cup Organic Raw Rolled Oats

3-4 Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Organic Lemon Juice

Prep:

Combine the two ingredients together in a mixing bowl until you have a paste-like consistency. Apply the face mask to your freshly cleansed face and neck and leave it on for about 25 minutes or until dry. Rinse it off with warm water and a wash cloth and gently pat dry with a soft hand towel. Follow with an oil-free moisturizer to retain needed moisture in the skin.

Benefits:

Raw rolled oats contain healthy fats that add moisture and hydration to the skin. Oats are a great exfoliator for the skin, removing cellular build-up (dead skin cells) and allowing new, fresh, rejuvenated skin to surface.  They contain Saponins that gently remove dirt, oil, and bacteria from your pores without clogging your pores and will leave your skin glowing long after you remove the mask! Exfoliating dead skin cells away unclogs pores, removing impurities like residue, excess oil, and acne-causing bacteria that would normally cause pimples to develop.  It will also help minimize scarring from acne over time. Exfoliating the skin is essential to a proper skincare routine and should be done at least 3 times a week, after cleansing the skin and before moisturizing.

Lemon juice is a natural astringent that is anti-bacterial and acts as a cleanser in a face mask while helping remove unwanted oil from the skin. If you have oily skin, this face mask is perfect for you to use.  Lemon juice will not only destroy acne-causing bacteria but will also even out your skin tone and leaving your skin glowing, refreshed, and radiant! If you have acne scars or loss of pigment due to acne or scarring from other skin conditions, this face mask is wonderful for you because it will help to restore the evenness of your skin.
