Ingredients:

1 Piece of Fresh Pineapple Sliced ½ Inch Thick

4 Tablespoons Cornmeal

2 Tablespoons Organic Plain Yogurt

Prep:

Puree the pineapple in a blender or food processor until smooth with no chunky pieces left. Pour the pureed pineapple into a mixing bowl and stir in the cornmeal and yogurt. Feel free to slowly add in cornmeal until you form the consistency you would like to apply to your skin. Once you have blended your pineapple face mask to your liking, apply to your clean face and neck. Leave on your skin for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Gently dry with a soft hand towel and apply an oil-free moisturizer to your face and neck.

Benefits:

Pineapple is a natural exfoliator for your skin. Applying pineapple topically on your skin is truly doing wonders for it. Packed with tons of antioxidants including Vitamins A and C, pineapple will work to fight skin damaged by the sun, acne, and other variables. Pineapple is a source of alpha-hydroxy acid, which is found in many skincare products including wrinkle creams that help with exfoliating dead skin cells to allow new, fresh skin to surface. This minimized lines and wrinkles from forming on your face and neck.

Cornmeal works as an amazing exfoliator for your skin, gently sloughing away dead dry skin and removing acne-causing bacteria and oil from clogging your pores. De-clogging pores will stop acne from spreading on your skin. Cornmeal is finely milled so it’s not rough on your skin. Just make sure that when using this mask, you gently apply the paste to your skin as to not irritate your skin or areas that may be inflamed.

Organic plain yogurt will help to moisturize your dry skin and soothe irritated skin from inflamed acne or dryness.
