Ingredients:
¼ Cup Pure Aloe Vera
Prep:
If you are blessed with an Aloe Vera plant in your backyard, all you need to do is collect a leaf or two of the plant and bring inside to use for this face mask. If you are not as fortunate and don’t live in a warm climate, you can purchase Aloe Vera leaves from your local produce market but if they don’t carry Aloe Vera leaves, you can purchase a bottle of 100% pure Aloe Vera in a bottle. It must be pure to utilize this face mask effectively. If using leaves from the plant simply break open the leaves and collect enough juice to fill a ¼ cup. If you have extra remaining, you can save it in your refrigerator for about a week. Otherwise, simply measure a ¼ cup of Aloe Vera from the bottle you purchased. Apply the Aloe Vera to your face and neck and leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse off with warm water. Gently pat your skin dry with a soft hand towel then apply an oil-free moisturizer to your face and neck to retain the moisture added to your skin from the Aloe Vera.
Benefits:
The Aloe Vera plant contains many nourishing qualities including polysaccharides which stimulate new skin cell growth which is vital for your skin’s health. The juice can reduce scarring due to acne or other environmental reasons like damage from the sun. Your skin will look younger and fresher with continued use of Aloe Vera. Remember how refreshed your skin looks and feels after your sunburn is healed thanks to Aloe Vera? Same idea applies to treatment of other skin issues.
It will also unclog your pores by removing impurities from your pores including excess oil and acne-causing bacteria.
