Being Happy With Yourself!

Being happy is a choice. You can choose to be happy or miserable. Life is short so don’t you want to live life to the fullest and embrace as much joy as you can?! Of course, life can be hard too and is not always easy but no one can steal your joy. Read along on how to find happiness and deal with hard circumstances gracefully:

1. Smile! It’s been proven that it takes more face muscles to frown than to smile! You also appear brighter and younger when you smile. So no more pouting allowed!

2. It’s also been proven that if you smile more than frown, you actually will be happier! Smile at everyone you see and see how contagious it becomes.

3. Every time a negative thought enters your mind, imagine yourself taking that bad thought and crumpling it like a piece of paper and chucking it into an imaginary garbage can! Then fill your mind with a positive thought. It may seem like a silly thing to do but it works! It may take time for this to become second-nature to you but it will become easier.

4. Every thought you think is creating your future. So if you think negatively, what do you think your future will become? Think positive and your future is full of hope and positive changes!

5. Nothing changes if nothing changes. If you’re unhappy in your life, make positive changes to better your well-being. If you are harming your mind, body, or soul, it’s time to break yourself of nasty habits and find things that fulfill you and bring you joy.

6. Surround yourself with happy, motivated people. You are who you surround yourself with.

Don’t ever think you were born into staying in a bad or unhealthy situation. You need to take care of your mind, body, and soul. To do so, follow our advice above and ENJOY LIFE! And when you face difficult times, you will be able to hold your head high and know, “This too shall pass.”
