Acne is a common problem regardless if you are a teenager or an adult. It not only affects one physically but emotionally as well. It’s important to realize the reason you have acne. It can be caused from hormonal imbalance, lack of sleep, stress, poor diet, an irregular skincare routine, the list can go on and on. There are several home remedies to get rid of acne but you need to first find out the type of acne you are facing. Assess if you are struggling with blackheads, whiteheads, mild acne, severe acne like cystic acne, or a combination of all.

Here are some home remedies you should try to treat your acne naturally before resorting to synthetically made acne treatments:

Organic Strawberries and their green leaves can help in reducing swelling and inflammation from acne. It can also kill acne-causing bacteria due to the salicylic acid within the strawberries. Mash the leaves and fruit together and apply the mixture on affected acne breakouts for 10 minutes then rinse the skin with cold water.

Organic orange peels can also be used to cure acne. Grind the orange peels then make a paste of orange peels with water. Apply the paste on your clean face for 10-20 minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water. Your skin will be beautifully exfoliated allowing fresh new skin to surface.

Organic cucumber paste can be used to get rid of acne. You should apply the cucumber paste as a spot treatment directly on the pimples for 30 minutes then rinse the solution off with lukewarm water.

Organic milk with organic lime juice is great for hydrating your skin. Simply combine a bit of milk with fresh squeezed lime juice and massage onto freshly cleansed skin. Leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse off with warm water. Your skin will be less dry, less oily, and your skin tone will even out over a short time of using this mini face mask treatment.

Try these homemade remedies and we’re sure you won’t be disappointed with the results. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients listed above before trying the remedies. Your skin will look and feel better in no time!
